{"id":4968,"date":"2010-12-08T11:16:06","date_gmt":"2010-12-08T16:16:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=4968"},"modified":"2010-12-08T11:16:06","modified_gmt":"2010-12-08T16:16:06","slug":"numbers-winnings-could-have-been-motive-in-abaco-murder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2010\/12\/numbers-winnings-could-have-been-motive-in-abaco-murder","title":{"rendered":"Numbers Winnings Could Have Been Motive in Abaco Murder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Abaco native who was shot to death outside his home Monday night was apparently killed after winning $50,000 from a numbers house.<\/p>\n<p>An article in Wednesday&#8217;s Tribune identified the man as &#8220;Stanley Saintville, a &#8216;quiet man&#8217; who coached a football team.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Nassau Guardian identified him as Stanley Saintvil.<\/p>\n<p>The man lived on Forest Drive in Marsh Harbour, Abaco.<\/p>\n<p>A woman believed to be his wife or girlfriend and their one-year old baby girl were also shot during the incident. They were airlifted to Nassau and are said to be in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>The deceased man had apparently won over $50,000 in an Island Luck draw, although police did not confirm that.<\/p>\n<p>Police said &#8220;a male armed with a handgun entered the home demanding cash.
