(WSVN) &#8212; A local dive boat operator is recovering after he was attacked by a shark off the coast of Grand Bahama Island and it&#8217;s not the first time his company has made headlines.<\/p>\n<p>Jim Abernathy was transported by Coast Guard helicopter to St. Mary&#8217;s Medical Center with a bite to his arm. The attack happened Wednesday morning about 18-miles north of West End. It is believed that Abernathy, 55, was hurt during one of his charters.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Website, Jim Abernathy&#8217;s Scuba Adventures specialize in hammerhead and tiger shark expeditions.
