Members of the public will soon have a better idea of precisely the level of efficiency of the judicial system, as authorities will provide the necessary statistics in an organized fashion, according to Attorney General John Delaney.<\/p>\n
Last week the police force released a complete breakdown of crime stats for 2010 and detection rates.<\/p>\n
But determining just how successful the Office of the Attorney General has been in prosecuting matters has proven difficult, as there is no central location for available statistics on the work of the office or the judiciary.<\/p>\n
But Delaney said this will change before the end of 2011.<\/p>\n
“That has been a very major focus of my office, certainly over the past year and we have determined what a lot of the problems are as to why they (statistics) aren’t readily available today and I can tell you that we are addressing them,” said the attorney general at a press conference at the Cabinet Office late Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
