{"id":7765,"date":"2011-04-14T08:29:46","date_gmt":"2011-04-14T12:29:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=7765"},"modified":"2011-04-14T08:47:05","modified_gmt":"2011-04-14T12:47:05","slug":"bahamian-students-show-off-skills-in-college-track-field","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2011\/04\/bahamian-students-show-off-skills-in-college-track-field","title":{"rendered":"Bahamian Students Show Off Skills In College Track &#038; Field"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bahamians at Auburn University continue to be standouts.<\/p>\n<p>Competing at the Florida State Seminoles Invitational, Sheniqua \u2018Q\u2019 Ferguson won the 200m in 22.92 seconds for the second fastest time in the U.S so far this year.<\/p>\n<p>In that same race her former Bahamas Speed Dynamics teammate Cache Armbrister was 4th.<\/p>\n<p>Competing in the 100m for Auburn Grand Bahama\u2019s Nivea Smith was second in 11.57 seconds, and freshman V\u2019Alonee Robinson was ninth in 12 seconds flat.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Mathieu ran unattached and won the men\u2019s 400m in 45.80 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Competing at the Texas relays on the weekend Jeffrey Green from Oral Roberts University was 8th in the 400-hurdles.<\/p>\n<p>Competing for the University of Arkansas Raymond Higgs was 4th in the long jump with a leap of 25\u2019 11.5\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Jamal Wilson at the University of Texas also leaped 7\u2019 and a half inch but finished 5th.
