President Obama released his certificate of live birth in 2008. But “birthers”, includng Donald Trump, refused to accept it as authentic.\u00a0 They wanted to see the\u00a0 “long form” birth certificate, even though that is no longer used in Hawaii.<\/p>\n
Finally, after two years of refusing to do, President Obama released the “long form” yesterday presumably to end the useless conversation and distraction “by sideshows and carnival barkers,” so that he could get on with solving the many pressing problems facing the United States.<\/p>\n
And, of course, after hearing the news, Mr Trump was thumping his chest in triumph. “I feel I’ve accomplished something really, really important and I’m honoured by it.”<\/p>\n
The editor of the Tribune was not impressed.<\/p>\n
