{"id":8317,"date":"2011-05-04T08:38:58","date_gmt":"2011-05-04T12:38:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=8317"},"modified":"2011-05-04T08:38:58","modified_gmt":"2011-05-04T12:38:58","slug":"small-business-conference-scheduled-for-may-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2011\/05\/small-business-conference-scheduled-for-may-11","title":{"rendered":"Small Business Conference Scheduled for May 11"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation will be holding a one day conference in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants.<\/p>\n<p>Focusing on issues relating to the sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Bahamas, the conference will discuss small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) innovation, access to financing and SME governance and succession planning.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Creating Sustainable Entrepreneurship&#8221; is the theme of the event to be held on May 11 at the British Colonial Hilton in Nassau.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of State for Finance, Zhivargo Laing, will give a special address.
