Colin Higgs, permanent secretary in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport demonstrated one of the simulators during a launch workshop for the introduction of a Driver Instructor&#8217;s Manual for The Bahamas on August 12. Mr. Higgs said the use of the simulators will bridge the gap between theory and driving.<\/p>\n<p>HIggs said the simulators will enable persons learning to drive to become familiar with the basic skills of driving a car and at the same time expose them to hazardous situations, thereby preparing them for actual road conditions.
