{"id":8464,"date":"2011-05-11T07:59:39","date_gmt":"2011-05-11T11:59:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=8464"},"modified":"2011-05-11T07:59:39","modified_gmt":"2011-05-11T11:59:39","slug":"missing-man-found-at-morgue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2011\/05\/missing-man-found-at-morgue","title":{"rendered":"Missing Man Found at Morgue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The body of a 53-year-old man who had been missing was found lying in the morgue, where he had been since February 23.<\/p>\n<p>Esther Outten told The Bahama Journal an unbelievable story.<\/p>\n<p>The story went public last Tuesday after the Outten family became extremely frustrated with the police, who reportedly had not done enough to find their missing father.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Outten was reported missing at the Quakoo Street Police Station on March 29.<\/p>\n<p>However, police apparently never issued a missing person&#8217;s bulletin, depsite numoerus vsists from family members to the police station inquiring about the missing man.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, after the Bahama Journal carried the story, a cousin contacted the family claiming she identified Outten to the police on the day he was reportedly found dead.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Outten said if it hadn&#8217;t been for the story airing on the news, the morgue would have probably gotten rid of her brother\u2019s body by now.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If this story hadn&#8217;t been aired they would have burned my brother&#8217;s body come this Friday. That is very sad because we tried so hard to find him.
