{"id":9313,"date":"2011-06-09T11:54:45","date_gmt":"2011-06-09T15:54:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=9313"},"modified":"2011-06-09T11:54:45","modified_gmt":"2011-06-09T15:54:45","slug":"some-btc-separation-packages-offered","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2011\/06\/some-btc-separation-packages-offered","title":{"rendered":"Some BTC Separation Packages Offered"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC)\u2008employees on a number of Family Islands received voluntary separation package offers yesterday, nearly three months after the former state telecommunications company was privatized.<\/p>\n<p>However, many staff members on New Providence and Grand Bahama are still waiting on their offers.<\/p>\n<p>They were supposed to be sent out on Monday, but BTC claimed the offers were delayed in order to clarify employees\u2019 pension figures.<\/p>\n<p>Employees on Andros, Eleuthera, Inagua and Long Island received their offers early Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Other staff members are supposed to get their offers before the end of the week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After s ome delay, the BTC\u2008employees on several Family Islands received voluntary separation package offers yesterday.
