{"id":9792,"date":"2011-06-29T08:15:54","date_gmt":"2011-06-29T12:15:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=9792"},"modified":"2011-06-29T08:15:54","modified_gmt":"2011-06-29T12:15:54","slug":"customs-officer-accused-of-stealing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2011\/06\/customs-officer-accused-of-stealing","title":{"rendered":"Customs Officer Accused of Stealing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Customs guard John Pinder was arraigned in Magistrate&#8217;s Court, accused  of being found in possession of almost $1,000 worth of stolen property.<\/p>\n<p>Pinder, 48, of Jubilee Gardens, was charged before Magistrate Guillimena Archer with stealing by reason of service.<\/p>\n<p>According to court dockets, Pinder allegedly stole one Gucci  handbag, three Gucci wallets, two Coach wallets and four Coach bags which were  the property of the Bahamas government. It was not clear why the government owns such luxury items or who they were intended for.<\/p>\n<p>Pinder pleaded not guilty to the charges.
