2005 - People's Choice Award Winner Pictured with emcee T'Rez Hepburn, Dionne Benjamin-Smith and husband Jolyon Smith made three trips to the front to collect awards; the overall People's Choice Award, plus the People's Choice Award and the Judge's Selection Award for the Best Website in the Art/Music/Culture category.
Emcee T'Rez Hepburn, the legendary Bahamian entertainer and singer, presents the People's Choice Award in the Tourism Category to Bimini Sands Resort's Frank Cooney Jr. The Bimini Sands website also won the Judge's Selection Award for the Best Website in The Tourism Category.
Rick Lowe, from Nassau Motor Company, accepting the Judge's Selection Award for Honda Bahamas from T'Rez. The Honda Bahamas website was selected as the Best Website in the Professional/Retail category. Rick also accepted the Judge's Selection Award in the Civic/Community/Religion category as webmaster for the Nassau Institute website.
Overall People's Choice Award winner Jolyon Smith (from Smith & Benjamin) and Alistair Henderson (from The Miami Dolphins Bahamian Website) watch sculptor Antonius Roberts as he woos emcee T'Rez Hepburn with a ballad. Mr. Roberts stepped in to assist Jolyn who was vying for a door prize in an impromptu song competition just prior to the Best of The Bahamas award presentation. Mr. Henderson, who was representing his son Robert, webmaster for the Miami Dolphins Bahamian Website, had earlier serenaded Ms. Hepburn and was a tough act to follow. The Miami Dolphins Bahamian Website won both the Judge's Selection and the People's Choice Awards for the Best Website in the Personal/Student category.
