If it helps ... I stayed at the Westin last year. Great hotel.

The Sheraton at Our Lucaya is just next door. So location is no different.

Westin seemed more primed for couples and is abit more isolated, while the Sheraton seemed more intent on attracting families with kids(water slides, etc).

Either way, it's a great time. :-)

Yes, the Westin at Our Lucaya will be closed until November 1.

You might try the Sheraton at Our Lucaya, which will be open October 1. Or, try:
Best Western Castaways Resort.

We are due to come to the Westin at Our Lucaya 10/8, but have been informed that it is closed thru October. We are told that we can book at another hotel for this time. Although, I'm not sure if we should still go or what other hotels are in much better shape than the Westin. Any suggestions for similar hotels that may have fared better during the hurricane?
