I really appreciated your info on the timeshare hotels. We stay at the Royal Oasis Country Club Villas and have not been able to get any info on them, we know that the hotel itself was damaged but no one could tell us about the rest of the property. We have good friends that work in the timeshare offices and have not been able to contact them to see if they were alright. I have been trying to contact one friend at home but can not get through. We are really praying for you people as you have always made our visits very special. Like they say one big happy island. Thank you again.

The Royal Oasis is closed until February, they announced yesterday, as they laid off about 1200 employees.

That includes the Crowne Plaza and the Sunspree Resorts (Freeport).

Sorry, I have no information regarding the Old Bahamian Club. Perhaps another reader can answer.

Was told that the Royal Oasis would be up and running by Oct 1st is this possible with the damage that they got. Also were the timeshares at the Old Bahamian Club destroyed. We have reservations there for Oct 16th
