The DNA is not ready to govern on day one because it expects to fall well short of the new 20-member majority needed for a decisive victory. They are relying on FNM and PLP double agents to pull them through.

Bahamians must stop being delusional, put aside our misplaced “National Pride”, and demand that the Government bring in the outside police and judicial assistance that is so obviously required.

The Bahamas joined four other Caribbean nations in bowing and kowtowing to the United States and Israel by voting against Palestinian Unesco membership and promising to abstain in the Palestinian Statehood vote.
The great irony is reflected in the fact that the depth and richness of this democracy is the consequence of the commitment to political pluralism of a real leader this DNA leader now tries to demonize.
I believe that Senator Pintard was well within his rights to criticize FNM and PLP Parliamentarians for defending known criminals before our courts. Pintard’s condemnation was bipartisaned.
For the frequency and type of crimes being committed in The Bahamas, Parliament should prescribe the imposition that is needed to sort out the dilemma. Parliament should not make laws that facilitate wealth opportunities for lawyers.
