The Miss Grand Bahama Beauty Pageant Organization is once again preparing three beautiful young ladies to compete in there prospective international pageants in China.
The 4 day film festival, FLIFF On Location: Grand Bahama Island wrapped on October 28th with an awards ceremony and official closing after what organizers said was a successful event despite Hurricane Sandy.
This is the second year of the FLIFF On Location: Grand Bahama Island, which is part of a three-year joint venture between the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival and the Grand Bahama Island Tourism Board.
Ian Strachan, writer, producer and director of the television series, “Gippie’s Kingdom” will be offering a workshop during FLIFF for aspiring filmmakers called, “Stories That Matter” on Saturday, October 27th.
The Fourth Edition of The Travelling Caribbean Film Showcase will be launched on Monday, 22nd October, with the Opening Film and Reception at Galleria 6, Thompson Boulevard.
Film fans will have an opportunity to meet celebrities and view a variety of international films, along with Bahamian-made films during the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) on location in Grand Bahama.
The year’s final segment of Cia Monet’s Beauties A Brunch will take place in Nassau on October 14th and will honour the three female captains at Bahamasair.
