Following a storm that pounded Paradise Island and flooded the Ocean Club, the first ever LPGA event in the Bahamas has been reduced to 54 holes.
The LPGA’s first official tournament in the Bahamas boasts an elite field, but Mother Nature has already thrown a wet blanket over this week’s event.
The LPGA is expected to make its first-ever official appearance in the Bahamas next month with the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic.
The LPGA tour has added the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic to the 2013 schedule, which will be played at the Tom Weiskopf-designed Ocean Club Golf Course at Atlantis in Paradise Island.
