Howard K. Stern was Anna’s longtime attorney and friend, and the two even had a commitment ceremony in the Bahamas in 2006. After Anna’s death, Stern fought Birkhead for custody of Dannielyn, but lost. In 2010, he was put on trial for supplying Anna with the prescription drugs which killed her, but was later acquitted.
