New Vision Of The Music Scene

They have always had Vision οΎ– now they have a debut album.

For 11 years I have considered myself Vision's number one fan and I have prayed that this day would come. It has finally arrived. Vision, with their unadulterated harmonies, contemplative lyrics, and a fresh and exciting array of musical compositions, release their debut album Introspection on radio stations in Nassau and retail stores. The US release is scheduled for August 8.

The group have engaged a marketing company, Thompkins Marketing, which promoted international stars such as Michael Jackson, Sade, Alicia Keys, Luther Vandross and Tyrese.

The Bahamian group have been raising hairs all over the globe with their vocals which are soothing.

The music is just pure and happy. I can't stop playing it. The group's featured vocalists, Andy Ferguson, Lincoln Bain, Kenyatta Taylor, and Dave Taylor, have all been passionately involved in music from childhood, and are now attuned to take the seven continents by storm.

"This album has quite a wide variety. Basically it goes from accapella, pop, Acoustic and R & B style to hard core Caribbean, and everything in-between including some pop tracks, and one for all the lovers," said the group's leader and manager Dave Taylor in an interview on Thursday.

Vision's message is very simple. " A relationship with the Creator through his Son provides the answer to every situation, crisis, controversy, heartache, sorrow, confusion, uncertainty, and pain and moreover it reconnects us to our source thereby allowing us to discover and fulfil our purpose for existence." Several years ago, it was rumoured that the group had split, but "Vision has always been together," Taylor confirmed. "Within Vision, there are four extremely distinct personalities but we use our differences to make us complete. We have allowed our differences and different perspectives to be portrayed in the variety of the album. All of us have different musical tastes and that is what we allowed to come out in the music."
