The New York rocker and British TV presenter-turned-photographer made the announcement in Tuesday’s Hello! magazine in Britain, but have not disclosed the date of their wedding.
It’s the first marriage for 25-year-old Valensi, while De Cadenet, 34, was married to Duran Duran bassist John Taylor, with whom she has a 14-year-old daughter, Atlanta.
De Cadenet — who is pregnant with twins — had a wedding dress designed by designer Marc Jacobs, but her baby bump had grown so big she ended up getting married barefoot in a beach dress.
De Cadenet says the couple decided to wed in a hurry during a brief break between The Strokes’ world tour, so weren’t able to invite their respective families.
