According to Chief Superintendent Marvin Dames, the first discovery came around 6pm when officers acting on information went into the Windsor Lane area.
There they reportedly found three Honda vehicles, two Sentras and one Ford Probe.
Mr. Dames said the officers arrested three persons ヨ a 20-year-old male resident of Quackoo Street, a 25-year-old male of Windsor Lane and a 23-year-old male resident of Exuma Street ヨ in connection with the incident.
The second discovery came around 8:30pm Monday when a team of officers from the crime squad unit, Internal Security Division and other areas recovered two stolen vehicles ヨ a 2004 Honda Accord and a 1997 Honda ヨ in the Pinewood Gardens area.
Mr. Dames said police took a number of persons into custody in connection with the two discoveries. They were reportedly assisting with police investigations.
In other news from the crime beat, police reported that they arrested a 37-year-old male resident of Rupert Dean Lane Monday morning.
According to police reports, the suspect accosted two men who were in the Deveaux Street area around 10:40am and robbed them of cash.
The men notified police officers of the incident and a short time later the officers observed and apprehended the suspect, Mr. Dames reported.
He said the suspect was found with a pistol-grip shotgun and a quantity of cash in his possession.
That incident remained under investigation.
