A 42-year-old man was charged in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday for engaging in sexual intercourse with a 10-year-old girl.
Phillip James Bowe of Saunders Lane allegedly had sex with the minor sometime between June and August of 2006.
He appeared before Magistrate Marilyn Meeres and was not required to enter a plea on Monday. Magistrate Meeres denied Bowe bail and he was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison. Bowe is expected to return to court on January 23, 2007.

* An 18-year-old male was charged with having sexual relations with a 12-year-old girl.Ryan Clayton Adderley, a resident of Colony Village, allegedly had sex with the minor sometime between October 2000 and August 2006, according to court dockets. A preliminary inquiry has been set for January 22, 2007, to determine whether he will stand trial in the Supreme Court. Appearing before Magistrate Meeres, the accused was not required to enter a plea on Monday and was granted bail in the amount of $10,000 with two sureties.

* Officers from the Central Detectives Unit want to question 36-year-old Edward Taylor in connection with the murder of Eric McGregor. Eric McGregor was killed on Thursday, May 18 2006. Edward Taylor, who is also known as “Sin,” is of a dark brown complexion and slim build.
He is six feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. Mr Taylor’s last known address was Spigot Road.
Police say he is considered armed and extremely dangerous.
