Grand Bahama Port Authority Chairman Dies

Mr. Edward St. George, 76, chairman of the Grand Bahama Port of Authority, died at the Marriott Medical centre in Houston, Texas, at 1:15am yesterday.


Lady Henrietta St. George and his five children were with him at the time. Mr. St. George, who had been ailing since September, underwent successful surgery for a heart valve replacement in November. However, he suffered a relapse and sank into a coma from which he never regained conciousness.
