A task force has been established at Fox Hill Prison to locate and weed out corruption that many former inmates claim has been going on there for sdecades.
Calling the enforcement of law and prison rules his “mantra” Prison Superintendent Dr. Elliston Rahming said he has created a new internal affairs unit, with the “sole mandate is to discover and weed out corruption.”
Dr. Rahming said if prison officers are found engaging in unscrupulous activities, they will find themselves before a disciplinary tribunal.
If their actions are of a criminal nature the police will be called in to deal with the matter, he said.
