Two brothers were attacked at their Hampton Street home. One collapsed and died just outside the home as he attempted to pursue the attacker.
Police said Jeroke Nixon, 23, was stabbed in the back. When his brother Ernest, 24, came to see what was going on, he was also attacked, receiving stab wounds to his right shoulder and neck.
The suspect reportedly fled with the brothers in pursuit. Ernest Nixon collpased and died becoming the 15th Bahamian murder victim this year.
Jerome Nixon is listed in stable condition at Princess Margaret Hospital. Police are continuing their investigation.
Sylvestor Francis, 20, is in critical condition at Princess Margaret after being stabbed in the chest while at Larry’s Pub on Key West Street and Cordeaux Avenue.
In a separate incident, Raquel Culmer was stabbed and is listed in stable condition.
