The film, a Universal Pictures release, stars Will Ferrell (Elf/Saturday Night Live) as Phil Weston, who decides to coach son’s soccer team, but ends up having, again, to deal with his overly competitive father played by Academy Award winner Robert Duvall, in the process. ᅠ’Kicking & Screaming’ also stars TV personality and sports icon Mike Ditka.

On Mother’s Day (8th) last Sunday, The Bahamas and millions of viewers from across the World community all tuned in, to hear Baha Men’s remake of their power global anthem, ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’, called, ‘Who Wants A Haircut’, during a brand new episode of ‘The Simpsons’ cartoon on Fox television channel.

Jeffery Chea (keyboards/lead vocals): “Having Baha Men’s music featured on The Simpsons sitcom and now the movie Kicking and Screaming is excellent news! Who Let the Dogs Out will be re-recorded a million more times in a million different forms. ᅠEverybody loves the hit song, Holla!”

In the episode, Bart Simpson and his sister Lisa decide they no longer want their mother (Marge) to cut their hair so they go instead to a new barbershop in the Springfield Mall called, ‘The Buzz Club’. ᅠAs the siblings enter the salon to have their hair styled, blasting through the air waves is that sweet familiar tune and music.

A Baha Men veteran of fifteen (15) years, Chea continues, “It means everything to me to be a part of this huge success story called, Baha Men. ᅠAfter all these years, it still feels like a dream.”

Ryan ‘Friday’ Andrews is the youngest member of the band and one of the two new lead vocalists in Baha Men: ᅠ”It was hilarious and very surprising to hear our song on The Simpsons cartoon! ᅠI can’t wait to go to Galleria to watch, Kicking & Screaming. ᅠFor me, it is a privilege and an honour to be a member of Baha Men and to be featured in some of the biggest releases in Hollywood.” ᅠ

With over five million (5,000,000) albums sold, Baha Men remains one of the biggest and hottest live acts on the planet today. ᅠThe band is preparing to record songs for their new album to be released later this year, as Baha Men’s latest CD, Holla!, sells and is now available on the Internet and in music stores, Worldwide. ᅠ

Holla! is also on the soundtrack for, ‘Garfield’, last summer’s animated/live action blockbuster that grossed nearly two hundred million (US $200,000,000) dollars at the box office globally.

Ryan adds, “Once again Baha Men have made history and again we have made the people of our island Commonwealth popular and proud – Holla!”
