Tighter security at all Bahamas airports looks certain following the weekend arson attack at San Andros.
The government is considering placing all airports under the control of the Minister of National Security, Deputy Prime Minister Cynthia Pratt said yesterday.
The attack, which destroyed the airport’s terminal building, was described by Mrs. Pratt as “downright senseless and malicious”.
She said the incident showed how great a challenge the Bahamas faced in securing all of its 16 airports.
