Progress Made In Shooting Investigation

Due to “phenomenal” public response to the murder of officer Henry Curry III, police say they are confident that charges will be brought against several suspects by the end of the week.

Press Liaison officer Chief Hulan Hanna told The Tribune yesterday that police have arrested a number of suspects. However, he could not say how many would face charges.

“Shortly after the incident one of the suspects turned himself in to the police, and further investigations then led to the arrest of othres. We expect them to be arraigned by the end of this work week, the numder of those to be arraigned, however, is still up in the air,” he said.

On Saturday morning 29-year-old Henry Curry III became the country’s twenty-second murder victim.
