The two companies together, United Shipping and Tanja Enterprises have become by far the country’s largest maritime service entity. Talks between the two of joining forces had been ongoing for about six months prior to the solidification of yesterday’s agreement.
President and CEO of Tanja Enterprises Jackson L. Ritchie, said he is very pleased to see the two companies come together as United Shipping is a very old and reputable Bahamian company with a ‘book of clients’ that have been loyal to it for decades.
