Bahamas Brides Enjoy 'Girls Night Out'

Brides to Be had so much fun one even stopped by Kellyᄡs Bridal Department in the Mall at Marathon to say モThank you for the very special evening!メ That was モBrides 2005ラGirlsᄡ Night Out.メ The extravaganza is now in its fourth year as a wedding partnership between Kellyᄡs and Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort and Spa.

Held in Sandals Ball Room, this bridal fair left little to be desired; it included Kellyᄡs latest china, flatware and crystal patterns from Wedgwood, Mikasa, Noritake, Waterford, Royal Doulton and Royal Albert, Lynn Chase, Durand, and Oneida; live bridal and lingerie fashions, Sandalsᄡ Royal Bahamian Resort and Spa wine tasting and food sampling, makeovers, video shows, a honeymoon suite and gift ideas and samples for attendants.

Then, there were dozens of prizes, including a $200 gift certificate from Kellyᄡs, won by Miss Erin Swain, who plans a December wedding in 2005; and a cocktail bridal reception for 50 from Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort, and won by Natasha Brown.

Mrs. Patrice Lloyd, Manager of Kellyᄡs Bridal Department at Kellyᄡs Home Centre, Mall at Marathon, planned the event along with Michelle Albury of Sandals, as a one stop shopping event for Brides to Be and their Maids of Honour.

Several of Kellyᄡs モBrides of the Monthメ for 2004 were in attendance as Kellyᄡs announced its モBride of the Monthメ for OCTOBER, 2004, during the event: Mrs. Melissa Thompson Hall, an attorney. The winner chose Kellyᄡs for her bridal selections because of モthe wide variety of gifts and the outstanding service you provide.メ

Each Kellyᄡs モBride of the Monthメ receives: A Kellyᄡs $250 gift certificate; Mikasa モGarden Terraceメ Heart dish; a Noritake serving set; a Sunbeam/Oyster Water Dispenser; a Howard Berger 5 pc. Tool set; a Villeroy & Boch モBernadotteメ crystal bowl; a $50 gift certificate from Buttons Bridal & Formal Wear; Dinner for two from Sandalᄡs Royal Bahamian Resort & Spa; personalized towels from Bahamas Embroidery and a Wedgwood serving platter.

Kellyᄡs モBride of the Yearメ receives a $1,000. Kellyᄡs gift certificate, a Wedgwood tea service for six in the モIndiaメ pattern, a Sandals Royal Bahamian 2nd Honeymoon; a Sunbeam Chrome Classic Beehive Blender; an 8 piece collection from Wearever and eight place settings of fine china from Noritake.

Kellyᄡs モBrides of the Monthメ attending were モBrides 2005メ were: Myriam Stapleton, February; Rhonda Roberts Carter, April; Raquel Edgecombe, July, a home economics teacher at Queenᄡs College; Anastacia Moultrie, August; and Ericka Hamilton, September.

Each year, more than 100 brides participate in the モGirls Night Outメ sponsored and organized by Kellyᄡs and Sandals.
