There will be no refunds for people unable to attend the Boxing Day Junkanoo parade on its rescheduled date, according to Carib Tickets, the company in charge of ticket sales for both Junkanoo parades confirmed yesterday.
A representative of Carib Tickets told The Tribune that the company has a “no refunds” policy regarding ticket sales.
The representative, who did not want to be named, also said that the tickets sold for the Boxing Day Parade will be honoured on January 1, and tickets sold for the New Year’s Day Parade will be honoured on January 7, the rescheduled dates.
Some Junkanoo spectators, however, were unhappy with the company’s decision not to refund money for unused tickets which cost as much as $75 each.
