American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will add nonstop jet service between Nassau, Bahamas, and Chicago O’Hare International Airport beginning June 9. The once-daily flight will be operated using its 70-seat Canadair CRJ-700 jet, providing customers with a convenient schedule at competitive prices.
“We’re pleased to be expanding our presence in Nassau with this new service to Chicago,” said American Eagle President Peter Bowler. “American is the largest provider of air service between Nassau and the United States with daily service to Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, and Orlando, and weekend service to New York LaGuardia on American Eagle or American Airlines.”
