Buyers and sellers of products and services used by hotels and restaurants will meet this Thursday, April 7th from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. at the Wyndham Nassau Resort Convention Centre to participate in the Bahamas Hotel Associationﾴs (BHA) annual Trade Show and Expo.
The Expo will feature over 40 displays of products and services by BHA allied members who do business with hotels and restaurants. ﾠPre-scheduled One-On-One meetings with purchasing representatives from our nationﾴs leading hotels are also being arranged. ﾠCulinary buffs will be treated to ice sculpting, cooking and cake decorating demonstrations conducted each hour from 1:00 pm, courtesy of the Bahamas Culinary Association and the Wyndham.
ﾓThis show is all about supporting and improving business between our allied members and the nationﾴs hotels and restaurants. ﾠBHAﾴs allied members are direct or indirect beneficiaries of the business generated by our nationﾴs hotels and restaurants. ﾠThis is the fastest growing area of our membership base and the trade show is a good way in which we support our allied membersﾒ stated BHA President Earle Bethell.
BHA expects a high level of participation by managers, purchasing representatives, chefs, and other key personnel from our nationﾴs hotel and restaurant trade. ﾠﾓThe event is open to anyone in the hotel and restaurant tradeﾒ according to Bethell. ﾠﾓWhile most of the hotels in the country are members of BHA, many of the restaurants are not. ﾠWe want to encourage them to come on out and explore ways in which they can build or strengthen strategic business alliances. ﾠWe also invite those who are not yet an allied member of BHA, to come check out the expo. ﾠAll you need to enter if you are not already a BHA member is a business cardﾒ adds the BHA President.
The Hotel Association has added a new component to the show this year called ﾓOne-On-Oneﾒ. ﾠThese are prescheduled 15 minute appointments with purchasing representatives from Kerzner, Four Seasons, Wyndham and the Radisson. ﾠﾓThis has proven to be very popular with our members. ﾠThere are just a few time slots left and we urge those with any interest to contact BHAﾒ said Bethell.

The event will be held on Thursday, April 7th from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. at the Wyndham Nassau Resort Convention Centre. There will be an official opening at 12:30, with a reception. ﾠThe event is open to all owners, managers and employees of hotels, restaurants and attractions and excursions.
