Councillor Questioned By Police

Cay Mills, outspoken member of Abaco’s local government, was questioned yesterday by police after a heated scuffle broke out between him and Marsh Harbour Administrator Revis Rolle.

Marsh Harbour police said that at 1:15pm yesterday, Mr. Rolle arrived at the Marsh Harbour police station to report that he had been punched in the face five minutes before by Mr. Mills, Chief Councillor of the outgoing Abaco Island Council. He complained that the altercation had left him with a wound to his left eye and broken glasses.

Mr. Rolle, told The Tribune yesterday that the incident arose during an impromptu inspection of the small capital works projects being undertaken by local government.
