Grand Bahama Man Shot

Police were on Monday searching for the man believed to be behind the fatal shooting of a 26-year-old Grand Bahama resident, a tragedy that pushed that islandᄡs murder count for the year to eight and the countryᄡs to 19.

Police said shortly after 10pm, one of the victimᄡs relatives reportedly informed him that someone on the outside of his home was interested in purchasing his white Buick car.

Mr. Grant reportedly went on the outside of his home, where, after exchanging a few words, the man pulled out a handgun, shooting him in the face several times.

Police said the suspect then fled the scene, leaving Grantᄡs lifeless body on the ground near his vehicle.

Police were searching for a man described as being six feet, one inch tall, of light brown complexion with a goatee and wearing a blue tam.
