Police said they arrested three men in the Oakes Field area on Monday for possession of an unlicensed firearm.
According to Police Inspector Walter Evans, officers observed the men acting suspiciously while in a gray coloured Dodge Neon vehicle in the area of Kentucky Fried Chicken on Carter Street.
It was then that officers approached the vehicle and proceeded to conduct a search, Mr. Evans said
They reportedly discovered a .22 Smith and Wesson revolver with five live rounds of ammunition under the rear seat of the car.
All of the men were taken into police custody and investigations continue.
