NOV 3 – NOV 8, 2005 – Peter Nyg�rd, will host country music’s foremost writers & artists who are performing at the 2nd Annual Songwriters Festival in Nassau. �The Festival provides an opportunity to perform & write material in a tranquil Caribbean setting.
Famous songwriters performing a few of their top hits are: ﾠTim Nichols, Sherrie Austin, Chuck Cannon, Vicky McGehee, Brett James, Kylie Sackley, Will Rambeaux, Andy Griggs & Conchita LeeFlang. ﾠTheir award winning songs have been performed by various artists such as Toby Keith, Reba McEntire, Kenny Chesney/ Uncle Kracker, Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson & Faith Hill.
Festival co-founder Mary Loving of BMI, said “The Bahamas welcomed us so warmly in our first year & we were particularly appreciative of Peter Nyg�rd for hosting us at his resort. Mr. Nyg�rd has rolled out the carpet for us again this year & as a result of his dedication & commitment, we have renamed the festival, NYG�RD CAY Songwriters Festival.”
