Over the course of the ensuing year, travelers on Bahamasair will observe a display of Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) paraphernalia prominently featured on the airline’s four jets and seven Dash-8 aircraft.
As part of the ongoing promotional campaign between the two companies, the national flag carrier will utilise BTC branded headrests and napkins on all of its domestic and international flights, Bahamasair and BTC officials announced Thursday.
According to Bahamasair deputy general manager Van Diah, the arrangement is expected to have a wide impact.
“Bahamasair is very proud to partner with BTC on a programme like this thatメs a mutual benefit to our sister companies,” he said during a press conference held in the conference room of BTCメs head office on John F. Kennedy Drive.
“The initiative will provide exposure for BTC to the million passengers that travel Bahamasair and it gives you exposure to our targeted markets, inclusive of locals who are going to visit family and friends in the Family Islands, and tourists. Another captive audience that I think you will be proud of is the charter flights that Bahamasair does.”
Bahamasair provides charter service into the Caribbean, Canada and the northeast United States.
BTC officials, meanwhile, said in its introduction phase the promotional exercise would focus on products such as roaming services and the companyメs HELLO card.
“BTC and Bahamasair have enjoyed a long run of partnering,” acting president and chief executive officer of BTC Leon Williams said.
“Bahamasair is always willing to participate in any BTC venture and at present Bahamasair proudly donates international round trip tickets to HELLO scratch and win prizes winners.”
Mr. Williams said the telecommunications company is committed to partnering with organisations, both private and public, in order to promote The Bahamas, exchange goodwill and foster relationships within the community.
