According to Inspector Walter Evans, Royal Bahamas Police Force public relations officer, it was soon after 10:00pm when gun shots were heard and the men where seen leaving in the same vehicle.
“The victim,” he said, “a dark male, believed to be in his twenties, was found dead in front of his home.”
Minnis’ death has left his family confused as they do not know what happened. Speaking to The Tribune yesterday Merlene Rolle, the victim’s aunt, said the family is at a loss at what really happened. “We have no idea why this happened,” she said. “I don’t think anyone will ever really know.”
