Sacred Heart Prepares For Annual Steak-Out And Mini-Fair

NASSAU, BAHAMAS  – Great steak and chicken dinners grilled fresh on-site draw hundreds of people every year to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Annual Steak-Out and Mini Fair.

Held this year on Saturday, November 5th from 12 Noon to 6 p.m. on the church grounds located at the corner of Shirley Street and Shirley Park, the Steak-Out committee is gearing –up for another successful event.

“At Sacred Heart’s Steak-Out we really concentrate on the food and as a result our event has become known for offering some of the best steak and chicken dinners found anywhere,” said Angela Fox, Steak-Out chairperson. “If you haven’t had one of our delicious dinners yet, this is the time to come out and try one for yourself and your family.”

Sacred Heart parishioners are ready to serve up great steak and chicken dinners at the Sacred Heart Steak Out and Mini-Fair to be held on November 5th, 2011 on the church grounds on the corner of Shirley Street and Shirley Park.

Homemade cakes and sweets, conch fritters are also featured, along with games and booths for the whole family including: hoopla, face painting, bingo, a bouncy castle, a white-elephant stall, books and an in-house raffle just to name a few.

“The steak-out is a family-oriented event that offers something for all ages,” said Father Mel Taylor, Sacred Heart Catholic Church Pastor. “We invite the whole community to join us for an afternoon of great food and fun.”

Tickets for steak and chicken dinners are $10 each and can be purchased at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church office. For more information call 326-6004.
