NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Steiner Leisure Limited ᅠannounced today that it has extended its agreements with Miami-based Carnival Cruise Lines and Seattle-based Holland America Line. Carnival Cruise Lines’ existing agreement was scheduled to expire on December 1, 2005 and Holland America Line’s on November 30, 2007. Under the new structure, beginning on January 1, 2006 each cruise lineᄡs vessels will be divided into three classes with three, four and five year terms.
As a result of the extension, Steiner will continue to be the exclusive provider of spa and beauty treatments, hairdressing and fitness programs for Spa Carnival aboard Carnival’s existing fleet of 20 cruise ships, as well as on the Carnival Liberty and Carnival Freedom scheduled for delivery in 2005 and 2007, respectively, and any new ships announced by Carnival through December 2006.
As a result of the Holland America Line extension, Steiner will also continue to provide these treatments and programs on Holland America Line’s fleet of 12 ships, as well as on the Noordam scheduled for delivery in 2006 and on any new Holland America ships announced through December 2006. The new agreement allows for Holland America Line’s fleet of ships to continue to enjoy exclusive use of Steiner’s luxury “Greenhouse Spa” brand within the maritime industry.
