The Commonwealth Writers of the Bahamas (TCWB), whose main purpose is to motivate, educate and inspire persons in the art of writing, has launched a short story competition.
The writers organisation is asking people to put pen to paper and write about a hurricane experience. The competition began February 28 and the deadline for entries is April 30.
“We came up with the idea to put together a short story competition to encourage people, especially the young writers, to express themselves and that is why we are asking them to write about a hurricane experience.
