Miami HEAT Partners With Bahamas Ministry of Tourism

The HEAT announced today that it has entered into a partnership with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism for the remainder of this season and the 2005-06 season.

Through the partnership, the HEAT will bring youth programs to The Bahamas, including charitable events, basketball clinics and educational programs. The HEAT will also work with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism to develop co-branded marketing programs that highlight the relationship between the organizations. Bahamas Theme Nights, signage at arena events, co-branded advertising and promotions on HEAT.com will be included in these initiatives.

“The Bahamas will be hotter than ever with the HEAT,” said the Honorable Obie Wilchcombe, Minister of Tourism for The Islands Of The Bahamas. “We welcome the opportunity to partner with the HEAT in Miami and our destination.”

“The HEAT is proud to partner with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism,” said Eric Woolworth, President of Business Operations for the HEAT. “We look forward to building programs that will highlight tourism to The Islands Of The Bahamas.”
