A GUNMAN who opened fire on a crowd of people was shot dead by police early yesterday morning.
The drama took place shortly after midnight at Arawak Cay when a man dressed in an orange shirt and black pants fired gunshots into innocent bystanders. He was accompanied by a man dressed in a light colored shirt with dark pants.
An eyewitness told The Tribune: “The one in the orange shirt pulled out a gun and started firing shots. I shouted out for the police.
“The police that were on the scene ran back into the Arawak Cay station and came out with their guns. They fired at the man with the gun and brought him down.
