Bank of The Bahamas Introduces Saturday Banking

The “Bank of Solutions” understands that banking Monday to Friday doesn’t work for everyone

Bank of The Bahamas (BOB) announced that starting October 9, 2010, it will introduce full-service Saturday banking hours at its Village and Harrold Road locations between the hours of 9:30 am and 1 pm.

“We decided to open on Saturdays to make banking more convenient for and accessible to our customers,” said Ian Thompson, Business Manager, Retail Credit. “We understand the busy lifestyles of our customers and time constraints that they face during the week. Some simply find it very difficult to get their banking done, especially if they have school runs and other errands to make. Customers can therefore take advantage of this additional day of banking, which gives them the flexibility and time they need. This is all a part of the Bank’s commitment in providing solutions for its customers.”

BOB customers may conduct regular banking business which includes opening accounts, applying for loans, credit cards or mortgages and Money Gram services. In addition, customers will continue to have the convenience of banking online around the clock at www.bankbahamas.com.
