Grand Bahama Businesses Shut Down

FREEPORT: Five businesses were shut down and 13 people were arrested for various offences as a result of an extensive police operation launched on Grand Bahama.

Asst Sup Loretta Mackey, press liaison officer, reported that Operation Summer Storm went into effect from 8.30pm on Friday, and ended at 2.45am Saturday.

Ms Mackey said five restaurants and bar/nightclubs were closed down by officers for suspected breach of the Liquor License Act.
