Grand Lucayan – New Name for Grand Bahama Hotel

Grand Lucayan, Bahamas and former Our Lucaya Beach & Golf Resort, has changed more than its name this season. “The new name gives a better sense of what the resort delivers, a truly grand Bahamian experience,” said Benjamin Davis, general manager of Grand Lucayan, Bahamas. “The name change will roll out across all channels by September 1, 2011, but in the meantime, we want to encourage our guests to enjoy our new offerings at the resort, as well as everything our beautiful island has to offer.”

New culinary experiences and a diverse offering of activities provide guests with all the essentials necessary to create their dream “Grand Bahamian” vacation. Whether visitors are active travelers or beach bums, Grand Lucayan, Bahamas offers something for everyone.

Barefoot Romance

The possibilities are endless at Grand Bahama’s crown jewel, as couples can personalize their nuptials or choose from any of the resort’s specialized wedding ceremonies. “For a Moment Like This,” Grand Lucayan’s signature ceremony is a grand way for family and friends to come together and celebrate the union of their loved ones. With every detail carefully planned, the guests-of-honor will be able to celebrate their special day without a care in the world.
