Imagine a totalitarian police state with a snake at the head. If you thought “Bladerunner” couldn’t happen here, think again. Frank “snake” Wilson’s pet police poodle, Keith Bell, recently suggested to an audience at the Rotary Club of West Nassau, that if the PLP gets back into power they would consider introducing a National ID System.
Scary stuff, especially given Mr Wilson’s track record for business dealings.
Apparently, a Birth Certificate, National Insurance Card, Driver’s License and a Passport aren’t enough?
Next step is little micro-chips implanted in our heads.
This would make it real easy for government, which has proven itself unworthy of our trust in so many instances, to keep tabs on us in a way that is downright frightening.
Reminds one of the song by Sting, “Every breath you take, Every move you make, Every step you take, I’ll be watching you.”
