Ankle Bracelet System Glitches Worked Out

anti-crime monitoring system

Breaches were discovered in the new ankle bracelet electronic monitoring system implemented in November 2010. Thirty individuals were able to deactivate the system with foil paper, confirmed Minister of National Security Tommy Turnquest.

Although, discrepancies were noticed in November 2011, the cause was not discovered until late January of this year.

The use of foil paper allowed the monitored individuals to bypass the system and disappear from the radar, which is operated by ICS Security Concepts and SecureAlert.

Police were still able to track the crafty criminals using alternative measures with the help of SecureAlert’s office in Utah. Police are now aware of how to overcome the foil paper trick. Meanwhile, many of the conniving crooks are back in remand.

While, the inept PLP leapt on the opportunity to knock the electronic monitoring system and spout foolish rhetoric about failed crime policies, Turnquest aptly defended the initiative, which has proven to be a good crime-fighting strategy.
