On Monday, September 24th, 2012 Mrs. Raquel Wilson, President of the Queen’s College Alumni Association (QCAA) presented $500.00, on behalf of the QCAA, to the Queen’s College Annual Fund.
The Queen’s College Annual Fund is the school’s yearly program that seeks to raise funds to support the ongoing needs of Queen’s College. Tuition and fees only cover a portion of operating costs of the school and funds raised from the Annual fund are pivotal to the continued growth and development of Queen’s College.
Mrs. Wilson stated: – “The Queen’s College Alumni Association is committed to ensuring that all alumni of the school remain connected to our great alma mater. As we have all benefited from the outstanding education which we received at this great institution, we have a duty to ensure that Q.C. continues to remain the premier educational institution in The Bahamas. It is important that the legacy of Queen’s College in fostering critical thinkers and developing the leaders of tomorrow continues.” She continued: “I implore all alumni to commit to giving back to Q.C. on a continuous basis.”
