The Bahamas Investor Magazine Lands In Geneva

One thousand copies of The Bahamas Investor magazine were shipped to the Permanent Mission of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in Geneva, Switzerland earlier this month to be distributed at the annual World Investment Forum 2014, now in its sixth year.

The forum runs October 13–16, in Geneva at the United Nations headquarters.

Organizers expect to attract several thousand participants from across the globe, including heads of states and government officials; executives of global companies and stock exchanges; sovereign wealth fund managers; investment treaty negotiators; heads of investment promotion agencies, among others.

A high-powered promotional tool, key government ministers such Minister of Financial Services, Ryan Pinder and Minister of State for Investments, Khaalis Rolle have carried boxes of the magazines on trips aboard.

“We think it’s a very comprehensive publication that clearly indicates what’s taking place in The Bahamas in terms of investments,” said Mr Rolle.

“Whenever we travel to investment related conferences, we take that magazine with us. It’s the main publication we carry in addition to some of our in-house material. When you have an independent publication that is of such high quality, it gives people confidence in the message that you are trying to communicate to them about the investment climate.”
